Al Qaeda may be on the brink of collapse

It looks like years of drone attacks against al Qaeda in the Af Pak region and the death of Osama bin Laden may be the death knoll for al Qaeda, the Washington Post, citing counter-terrorism officials, reports.

I hope this is true – then troops should all come home.

On the other hand: are they in Somalia, or Yemen or Libya ? Is the #2 man in Egypt and the american traitor in Yemen?
Will believe the title report instead of questioning : )

Thank you for the good news- Al-queda disbanded and gone is good: and of course bring the troops home.

It will be too early to say that Al Qaeda is or may be on a brink to collapse because it is not only in Afghanistan and Pakistan but it has become worldwide terror organization and it has got a better replacement as compared to Osama. The new chief is Al Zawhiri who is a very cunning man and he will play new tricks to disturb the world by violence. He is the man who organized the plan to kill Anwar Sadat the late president of Egypt. It is possible that Al Qaeda may slow down or go underground a certain period but will come up again. Take the recent example of Norway Bloodbath was given to innocent people but the real picture was not clear, no terrorist organization claimed but suddenly a blame game started by blaming the Zionists in other words pointing towards the good hearted Israelis. Now the name of Al Zawhiri is coming in my mind because he is master of such planning.
