Most Americans like Obama tax the rich plan

Americans widely agree with a number of President Obama’s jobs plan proposals, including increasing taxes on higher-income taxpayers and on corporations to pay for the jobs bill, according to a new Gallup poll.

A majority also believe the bill would help either “a lot” or “a little” in creating new jobs and improving the economy.

If you approve President Obama’s jobs plan you have to get off your duff and call your congressperson. I never had to call mine before because I am in NY District 9 and MY congressman shared my beliefs until he decided to show his package and resigned. This leaves me with a new congressman, the intractible Bob Turner. I have a feeling he will be hearing from me very often in the future, but not to worry……..I doubt we shall become friends.

Don’t tax you, don’t tax me. Tax that fellow behind the tree.

It is obvious that people would rather see the rich taxed, than themselves. However, I am afraid that insisting that it is time for the rich “to pay their fair share” is just another tool to win the 2012 election.
