Some Catholics back Obama on contraception
There are those – including Catholics – who are unsatisfied with President Obama’s compromise on the requirement that religious-based institutions have to provide contraceptive services for their employees. The compromise puts it on the back of the insurance companies – not the religious organizations.
But at least one important Catholic group says it’s satisfied with the White House’s rollback on the issue.
