The killings continue in Syria. The UN will take no action. Once again, the United States is faced with a dilemma. Should the country intervene? To what degree? And at what cost?

Syria is practically, if not actually, a client of Iran. Will going in to Syria be, in effect, declaring war on Iran? The other negative situation is that we do not know who the rebels represent. It is hard to imagine a regime more hostile to the United States than the Al Assad regime but it is not impossible. This was a job for the Arab League and since they couldn’t or wouldn’t control the situation what makes America think we could without wasting more lives and money. I say NO

Why should America get involved?there must be good reasons why UN does not want to get involved and why China and Russia does not want to put more sanctions down and can any country afford to have more wars? The war in Libya cost the UK £1.75 billion and that was money we could not afford imagine how much debt could have been paid off if we had not got involved and i would hate to add up the amount spent on Iraq and Afghanistan
