Permanent 5 + Germany offer to reopen nuke talks with Iran

The talk is of a possible military strike – underscored by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before AIPAC where he reiterated what he told President Obama earlier – Israel will take whatever action it must to protect itself from an Iranian nuclear threat.

On the heels of that speech, the permanent five members of the UN Security Council – the U.S, Russia, the UK, China and France – plus Germany – say today that they are ready to reopen talks with Iran. Seen by many as a last-ditch effort to avoid what Netanyahu says may be necessary.
