Incidentally, go read the GSA vision and mission statements – they so patently fail to fulfill them in certain essentials that even they should be calling for a major enquiry!!

Even Rep. Peter King from NY, a staunch Republican says the Secret Service agents on the ground are to blame and this is not a partisan issue. At least some on the Right have the good sense to know the difference of what is a real scandal. Jack Abramoff and payoffs in the Bush administration – that’s a scandal. This was a bunch of “guys” who should know better. Remember, their job is to protect and take a bullet for the person they are guarding and not get drunk and party with hookers waiting for POTUS to show up.

As for the GSA, this is a scandal. This should not happen under any party in office at anytime, regardless of the economic situation. I hope they clean house there because it is deserved. This is career GSA workers taking advantage of the people’s money and they should be forced to pay back the difference between what is acceptable and what is a over the top. Then fired.
