WASHINGTON - The economic plan rolled out by the Obama campaign is falling flat with independents in key swing states, according to a new ABC News/ Washington Post Poll.
Fifty-four percent of independents said that they view it negatively as opposed to only 38 percent who said they support it.
Romney also finds a negative approach among independents over his economic plan, albeit by a smaller margin. 47 percent ranked it unfavorably while 35 percent said they had a favorable impression.
The poll was conducted among 1,007 between June 6th and 10th.
