Arab League offers Assad safe passage

Arab nations have offered safe passage to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad if he steps down, Qatar’s prime minister said.

Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al-Thani made the announcement after a ministerial meeting of the Arab League in Doha.
