Heavy fighting in Damascus

The power may be shifting in Syria’s civil war, as it is being called by the International Red Cross.

Indicators are that the battle is moving close to the capital in Damascus.

The Free Syrian Army says the assault on the capital is in retaliation for the massacres perpetuated by the Syrian Army.

Now a new, serious concern. The most senior Assad aide to defect is saying the regime is preparing to unleash chemical weapons on the rebels.
