Internet doomsday fizzles

Because you’re reading this, you already know that the virus that was supposed to keep us all from connecting to the Internet hasn’t affected you. And, in that, you are far from alone.

The feared massive blackout of the Internet never materialized. That’s because many ISPs set up their own special servers to redirect infected customer’s computers from what would have been an Internet black hole.
