Many young voters say they will sit out the election

The 58% of registered voters aged 18 to 29 who say they will definitely vote this fall is well below 2008 levels and is the lowest for any major subgroup. This according to a new Gallup poll.

Black voter intentions are down from 2008 but are close to the national average.
