WASHINGTON – This becomes the 31st time the House has voted on the issue. Because some Blue Dog Democrats are expected to cross party lines and vote for the repeal, it is expected to pass.
Sen. Mitch McConnell will follow with a similar vote in the Senate soon. But that repeal vote is expected to fail.
The biggest objection is the individual mandate that was just upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court. While he now opposes it, in 2006, Mitt Romney termed called the mandate “essential for bringing healthcare costs down” and in ensuring that everyone gets the insurance they need.
A new Republican bill would remove the teeth from the Obama contraception mandate by barring the federal governmentt from penalizing employers that don’t comply.

Groundhog Day (the movie) from the GOTeas? Another repeal vote – yawn.
How about a Jobs bill?
Boehner? Boehner? Boehner?
Hey, I thought the republicans were so hot on personal responsibility. So how come they want to go to ERs when they are ill and leave it to the rest of us to pick up the tab? Small medical problems can probably be handled out of pocket but try that with a heart attack, stroke or cancer. You better have 400k lying around for payment!
