Penn State students react to NCAA sanctions
No bowl games, or any post-season games for four years.
That’s the punishment to the Penn State University football program. Part of the NCAA sanctions for the actions of former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. Guilty of sexually assaulting on campus boys he was mentoring through his charity. An internal report found that the football program’s leadership – including that of longtime former head coach, the late Joe Paterno, failed to intervene and stop it.
