Romney predicts justice following Colorado shootings

Putting politics on hold, Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney delivered a somber statement Friday to mark the Colorado shooting that left a dozen dead and approximately 50 more wounded.
“I stand before you today, not as a man running for office, but a father and grandfather, husband, an American,” Romney said during what was initially scheduled to be a campaign speech in Bow, New Hampshire.
“There will be justice for those responsible, but that’s another ratter for another day. Today is a moment to grieve and remember, to reach out and to help.”
Both President Obama and Romney suspended their campaign events following news of the shooting. President Obama acknowledged the tragedy in remarks in Florida earlier in the day, wherein he held a 20 second moment of silence.
The Colorado gunman opened fire during a midnight showing of the Dark Knight Rises in the city of Aurora. The suspect has been identified as 24 year-old James Holmes.
