Russia to host meeting on Syria

Russia is finally getting off the bench with regards to Syria.

Russian President Putin will host a meeting with UN Special Envoy Kofi Annan in Moscow on Tuesday.

Australia’s foreign minister is urging Russia to embrace UN sanctions on Syria. Meanwhile, French President Hollande is renewing pressure on both Russia and China to support UN resolutions designed to end the massacres in Syria. UN observers visited the most recent, and deadliest, massacre site in Syria and found blood splattered houses and a mass grave.
