U.S. Navy fires on vessel in Persian Gulf

AMERICAN FORCES PRESS SERVICE

A security team aboard the USNS Rappahannock today fired on a small motor vessel after it disregarded warnings and rapidly approached the ship near Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates.

In accordance with Navy force protection procedures, the sailors aboard the Rappahannock, a refueling ship, used a series of nonlethal, preplanned responses to warn the vessel before resorting to lethal force, the Navy said.

The Rappahannock’s crew repeatedly attempted to warn the vessel’s operators to turn away from their deliberate approach, according to the Pentagon. When those efforts failed to deter the approaching vessel, the security team on the Rappahannock fired rounds from a .50-caliber machine gun, the Navy said.

Iran is having full back up of Russia and China so these three countries will never tolerate the presence of the US Naval fleets in the regon.Iran is becoming a nuclear power and keeps on threatening Israel and even US. Iran is trying to show her innocent and was waiting for to be attacked by US or Israel so sent a small ship and tried to go near the USNS ships although the US Navy was warning them but it did not stop. Finally, the Iranian ship was sunk by the US attack. This is the way to prove US is a very cruel and will start clamor to show the world that Iran is a victim of brutality.
