FBI seeks person of interest in Sikh temple shootings

TALK RADIO NEWS SERVICE

FBI Special Agent Teresa Carlson announced during a press conference in Oak Creek, Wisconsin Monday that investigators are looking for an unidentified person of interest following Sunday’s deadly attack on attendees of a Sikh Temple.

Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards said that law enforcement officials are confident that there was only a single shooter involved in the incident, but that the person of interest appeared on the scene following the shooting and left before authorities could determine his intentions. Edwards added that there is no evidence for collaboration.

The Oak Creek police released a photo of the person they are looking for.

The police chief confirmed that the suspected shooter has been identified as Wade Michael Page and that he had been a member of the U.S. military from 1992 to 1998 before receiving a general discharge.

Carlson stated that the FBI is working to determine if the attack was an act of domestic terrorism but that a motive has not yet been established. Amid reports that the shooter was involved in the white supremacist movement, Carlson naid that investigators will determine if there was any involvement from extremist groups.

This shooting leaves most people on edge. Not even safe in your house of worship! My prayers go out to the Sikh families in Wisconsin, and for the first responders who were also shot while defending others.

Hmmmmmmmmm. General discharge is one step above a dishonorable discharge. I have a feeling that they will find some very strange companions, with assault rifles, militia uniforms or white sheets, in this killer’s iphone.

Houses of worship should be safe.

The man/murderer is a white supremist, this is a hate group.
    One chatter called this “terror-cide.”

Looks like another homocidal nutjob who SHOULD have been stopped, yet he was able to buy guns from a local store, something needs to done about the easy availability of such weapons.
