Gov. Brewer bans deferred action benefits to dreamers in Arizona

Just as dreamers in Arizona eagerly began applying for the Obama administration’s deferred action program, Gov. Jan Brewer signed an executive order Wednesday directing state agencies to deny them driver’s licenses and state-issued identification cards granted to them under the program.

    the state has more power than the feds in this instance-that’s interesting

    It is my understanding that states can give more privileges than federal law but not take away what has been given by the federal government. Lawsuit coming?
