Government tells local cops to not arrest Occupy protesters

TRNS – Documents reveal that the General Services Administration, with the blessing of the Obama White House, instructed law enforcement officers to “stand down” and not arrest “Occupy Portland” protestors who were in violation of the law.

Judicial Watch obtained the documents through a Freedom of Information Act request. Among them is an exchange of e-mails specifically related to Occupy Portland protests taking place on federal property.

Good news for Freedom of Speech and Freedom to Assemble

  2. That just means they have something even worse planned.

Someone thinks the first amendment right to free speech and the right to assemble includes BREAKING THE LAW??? fnthngs, did they drop you on your head at birth? Sorry, but that’s simply ludicrous! What this is, is the white house promoting ANARCHY in the streets!

If the WH ordered law enforcement to stand down in YOUR neighborhood when people were trashing the area, tearing up stores, etc., would you be so cool with it? I don’t think so!
