AHMADINEJAD: ISRAEL WILL BE ‘ELIMINATED’

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad argued that Israel has ”no roots” in the Middle East. The implication, of course, is that the Jewish state is not there legitimately. He also says Israel will be “eliminated.”

His comments came in remarks to reporters before addressing the opening session of the UN General Assembly.

Ahmadinejad also said Iran does not take threats of an Israeli attack seriously. This comes one day after Iran said that if Israel attacks its nuclear weapons program, it will retaliate against the United States, even if the US is not involved in the attack.

The comments also come one day after he met with UN Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon. A meeting at which Ban reportedly urged Ahmadinejad to tone down his inflammatory rhetoric.

We now know, in addition to other facts about Ahmadinejad, that he is no archeologist.

Who cares what this bozo says? He has zero authority in Iran. He has as much say in the Irani governement policy as the Queen of England has in Britain – none. He is just a figurehead for the Revolutionary Guard.

No Sylvia, he may be a historian though, just look at how he’s re-written it!!!

he’s annoying and his speech changes very little

I noticed he loves OUR freedom here: he says what he wants, where he wants, how he wants and apparently loves all the protests and protestors that follow him around. He might dream of shooting them, but he’s in the wrong country.
