MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD CANCELS PROTESTS IN EGYPT TODAY

Perhaps they were looking at the bottom line.

There are those in Congress who want to cut out – or at least cut back – massive aid to Egypt in light of the continuing protests against a film that pokes fun at the Prophet Muhammad and Islam.

Now it appears the Egyptian government is backing down. Canceling a series of protests today. Saying that, while Cairo still finds the film reprehensible, it does not blame the US government for it.

Meanwhile, protests are now spreading to Afghanistan and Lebanaon.
