Iran may be the only hope for the people of Syria.

Isolated from the rest of the Middle East, Syria’s only ally in the region now is Iran. So, the UN and Arab League’s peace envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi traveled to Tehran to ask Iranian leaders to pressure Syrian President Assad to agree to a ceasefire with his nation’s rebels, the BBC reports.
