SANDY DEATH TOLL RISES

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg had predicted the death toll would rise. At least 48 deaths are now attributed to Sandy. Lower Manhattan remains blacked out. There’s gridlock as the New York Stock Exchange reopens but subways and rains remains sidelined. Seaside Heights, NJ remains under water. President Obama is touring the New Jersey damage today.
