But a federal judge has now ruled that it must be provided to females of any age who ask. The government hasn’t yet said whether it will appeal the ruling.

The pressure’s on the White House to reverse Medicare cuts to cancer clinics. About 50 congressional offices, from both parties, have offered to lobby the administration over cuts to cancer treatment clinics due to the sequester. Cancer clinics, many in rural areas, have already begun turning away new Medicare patients. Some clinics could close.
